Onayena Police in the Oshikoto Region recorded two suicides this week.

Both incidents happened on Monday.

One incident took place at Onethika-Ontananga Village when a 53-year-old man hanged himself in his sleeping room with an electrical wire.

He was identified as Amutenya Fillipus, from Onethika Village in the Onayena area.

No foul play is suspected, no suicide note has been left, and his next of kin have been informed.

The same day, 32-year-old Erastus Hidishange also hanged himself in his sleeping room with shoelaces.

The incident took place at Oshendje Elombe Village in the Oshikoto Region.

No suicide note was found and his next of kin have been informed.
