The trial of accused murder siblings, Azaan Madisia and Steven Mulundu will commence at the Windhoek High Court tomorrow
At the harbor town of Walvis Bay, about, two years back,  the disappearance of 20-year-old Shannon Wasserfall grew traction.

The young mother went missing in April 2020, and the discovery of her body, in a shallow grave,  in October, about six months after her alleged murder.

It is alleged that Shannon was close friends with Azaan Madisa.

It is further alleged that Madisia and Wasserfall after they went on a drinking spree, got into a heated altercation at Madisia's place.

The said altercation became physical, and Wasserfall was allegedly pushed in the process, hitting her head and falling on the floor.

She never woke up.

How Wasserfall's remains were moved to the site where she was buried in a shallow grave, and by whom, remains unclear.

But police were allegedly led to the discovery of her decomposed body by a text message, and that message was traced to Azaan Madisia's phone.

Steven Mulundu, Azaan Madisia's brother was arrested in November 2020 after he surrendered himself to the police.

His involvement in the murder remains unclear, but public prosecutors will state their case during the expected trial.

The Wassrfall murder is but one of a number of missing persons' cases, where suspects were identified and detained, and expected to appear in court.

Another case is that of 17-year-old Magdalena Stoffles.

She was reportedly raped and murdered, her body discovered in a riverbed in Windhoek 12 years ago.

Nine-year-old Cheryl  Avihe Ujaha went missing in Windhoek in August 2018, her body parts were later discovered scattered across Khomasdal.

Karibib resident, six-year-old Adrian Myne Oswyn, the most recent victim of brutality also died under mysterious circumstances.

The little one's mutilated body was discovered in parts over two days, at the town's sewage dam.
