A 23-year-old Gobabis resident, Denzil Davids, appeared in the Gobabis Magistrate's Court, charged with the murder of Yolande McCallum, the mother of a man with whom he previously fought.

Davids was denied bail, and his case was postponed to February 12, 2024.
