President Nangolo Mbumba says the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence (GBV) are a reminder to act with purpose towards the elimination of gender-based violence in Namibia.

Usakos residents have asked for clarification about the government's conditional basic income grant criteria.

Residents at Usakos in the Erongo Region flocked to the community hall daily since the registration for the conditional basic income grant of N$600 started last week.

The Epukiro Post 3 Secondary School has unveiled a new borehole that was drilled to alleviate the water shortage that has been plaguing the school for years. 

The borehole is expected to improve water provision for the school's 1,100 learners, most of whom are hostel dwellers.

Phase one of the Ndiyona-Djaradjara road in the Kavango East Region has started.

The road will go through Ndiyona-Djaradjara-Kandjara-Dcude-Cwiba-Khaudum-Shikerete and link up with the Tsumkwe road.

The Ministry of Home Affairs, Immigration, Safety, and Security is happy with the progress made with the construction of the Home Affairs office building at Katima Mulilo. 

The flagship project will accommodate departments dealing with civil registration and immigration.
