Australia commends Namibia's clean energy and decarbonizing ambitions

Australia has commended Namibia's ambitions to be a leader in clean energy provision and in decarbonizing.

Australia's outgoing Head of Mission revealed this when she bid farewell to President Hage Geingob at State House.

The Australian company specialising in green energy production, Fortescue Future Industries, was one of the companies that submitted its bid to construct the mega green hydrogen plant when the government put out the request for proposals last year.
