30th anniversary of Brazil-Namibia Agreement for Naval Cooperation

Brazil and Namibia signed a pivotal naval agreement thirty years ago, which has become a cornerstone of regional stability and maritime security. 

Brazil's ambassador to Namibia, Vivian SanMartin, at the meeting to celebrate 30 years of the agreement at the Brazil Ambassador's Residence in Windhoek, hailed the Brazil-Namibia naval cooperation.

SanMartin emphasised the enduring commitment both nations share to preserving ocean resources and ensuring sustainable maritime environments.

President Hage Geingob has commended the work of the Security Association of Namibia for maintaining law and order.

The association marked its 30th anniversary today.

Members of the Security Association marched through the streets of Windhoek in celebration of the anniversary.

In a speech read on his behalf, President Hage Geingob commended the work of security companies in protecting properties as well as in maintaining law and order.
