The Landless People’s Movement (LPM) wants the country to head to the polls again by 19 March for fresh presidential and national assembly elections.

The Landless People's Movement's (LPM) Fransiscus Khumub and his older brother, the Swapo Party's Moses Khumub, are the only two candidates to contest the Oshikoto Region's Guinas constituency by-election set for the 17th of January.

Swapo Party Secretary General Sofia Shaningwa has issued a formal response to two court cases filed by the Independent Patriots for Change seeking to nullify the results of Namibia's Presidential and National Assembly Elections held in late November 2024.
