With just one day remaining until the conclusion of the Windhoek Agricultural, Livestock, and Motor Show, local entrepreneurs have seized the opportunity to showcase their products and strive for profitability at this grand event.

The showgrounds have become a bustling hub for a diverse range of participants, including traditional food stalls, automobile enthusiasts, skilled technicians, and agriculture aficionados.  The local entrepreneurial spirit is in full swing, with many individuals venturing into innovative product lines sourced from organic, locally available materials.

This year's 22nd edition of the Ongwediva Annual Trade Fair attracted a total of 450 exhibitors, among them 14 international exhibitors.

Speaking at the official opening on behalf of President Hage Geingob, the Deputy Minister of Trade and Industrialization, Verna Sinimbo, said the fair has become an integral part of promoting sustainable development for the benefit of current and future generations.

13th Eenhana Expo opens

The government believes that investments and trade activities, especially in the manufacturing, farming and agro-processing business sectors are fundamental to economic growth.

This was said by the Minister of Industrialisation and Trade, Lucia Iipumbu when she officially opened the 13th Eenhana Expo in Ohangwena region.

The expo is being held under the theme: "Reviving Local Economy Rhrough Business Resilience, Innovation and Diversification "

Opuwo annual Trade Fair kicks off

The 10th annual Opuwo Trade Fair has kicked off but at a slow pace.

So far the trade fair only attracted about a hundred visitors since the gates opened on Monday.

There are 123 exhibitors participating at the trade fair, showcasing unique products made in Opuwo.

The Council also incorporated a career fair, boxing bonanza, cultural and tourism expo and the Miss Opuwo Beauty pageant.

The Ondangwa Trade and Industrial Exhibition has transformed into one of Namibia's primary trade exhibitions, with the organisers succeeding in positioning the event as a prime nationally recognised event.

These were the remarks of Trade and Industrialization Minister Lucia Iipumbu when she officially opened the 10th edition of the Ondangwa Trade and Industrial Exhibition.

This year's expo brought together over 200 local exhibitors.

Ondangwa Mayor Paavo Amwele says the expo has grown over the years.
