The void left by the late Founding President is deeply felt across the country, as mourners, ministries, and political parties continue to visit his residence to offer their sympathies and sign the book of condolences.

The Chief of the Uukwambi Traditional Authority, Elengenene Ndilimani Iipumbu, has penned an emotional tribute to the late Founding President with whom they would call each other "Mwameme" meaning brother.

The Minister of Information and Communication Technology, Emma Theofelus, says the logistical preparations for the countrywide memorial services of the Founding President are well underway.

The Swapo Party Youth League (SPYL) has reiterated its call for May 12, the birthday of the late Founding President Sam Nujoma, to be declared a public holiday named after the former statesman.

The late Founding President, Dr. Sam Nujoma, was known as an advocate for education.

He did more than speak and got the resources together to fund students, both through his foundation and in his personal capacity.

The Namibian High Commission in Zambia has become a gathering point for those mourning the late Founding President, Dr. Sam Nujoma.

In the Zambezi Region, leaders and veterans of the liberation struggle came together at Katima Mulilo to honour the memory of the late Founding President, Dr. Sam Nujoma.

Among the many contributions of Namibia's late Founding President, Dr. Sam Nujoma, one of the most notable was the establishment of the Namibia Broadcasting Corporation (nbc) Television Services in July 1992. 

The atmosphere in the National Assembly was filled with sorrow and emotions as MPs continued to pay their final respects to the late Founding President, Dr. Sam Nujoma. Several speakers delivered emotional speeches, struggling to contain their tears.

Fumu Erwin Munika Mbambo, the traditional leader of the Hambukushu people, described the late Founding President Dr. Sam Nujoma as a courageous individual who faced challenges directly.
