Lüderitz to host Miss Namibia and Miss Teen Beauty pageants

The harbour town of Lüderitz will host this year's Miss Namibia and Miss Teen Beauty pageants.

The announcement was made by nbc Director General Stanely Similo and the Chief Executive Officer of the Lüderitz Waterfront Company, Fluksman Samhuel, in Windhoek.

Vice President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah said this when she officially opened the annual Lüderitz Crayfish Festival.

The Nama Traditional Leaders Association Chairperson, Johannes Isaack, has stressed the need for the inclusion of the Nama people in green hydrogen development at Luderitz. 

He shared his sentiments at the workshop organised by the association in collaboration with the Society for Threatened Peoples.
