At the United People's Movement's (UPM) manifesto launch by Jan van Wyk, it became clear that the party was divided into two, with each faction claiming to be in charge.

Despite a court order to reinstate expelled members of one of the factions, Van Wyk went ahead and launched the party manifesto.

Amushelelo surrendered himself to the police and was arrested on Tuesday morning.

Kaomo Vijanda Tjombe dies

Veteran journalist and nbc's former Radio News Editor, Kaomo Vijanda Tjombe, died in Windhoek on Saturday following a battle with cancer. 

He was 65 years old. 

Tjombe's brother, Nathanael Mbaeva, confirmed the news to the nbc.

Miss Namibia Prisca Anyolo has departed for Mexico to represent Namibia at the Miss Universe pageant.

It was all smiles at the Hosea Kutako International Airport as the Namibian contestant prepared to board a flight to Mexico to participate in the 73rd edition of the Miss Universe pageant.
