Landless People's Movement (LPM) leader Bernadus Swartbooi has called for easier, deadline-free access to the National Youth Development Fund.

The leader of the Landless People's Movement (LPM), Bernadus Swartbooi, called on the Minister of Urban and Rural Development, James Sankwasa, to focus on developing local authorities and do away with what he calls unnecessary fights. 

The second edition of Namibia's National Literary Festival aims to celebrate local literature and foster a culture of reading.

The festival will be held from the 3rd to the 4th of October at the National Library of Namibia.

The National Skills Competition provided a platform for institutions, companies, and innovators in the TVET sector to exhibit their products and services.

The experts also encouraged greater participation of women in traditionally male-dominated fields within the TVET sector.

The Fourth National Skills Competition kicked off in Swakopmund on Tuesday with a TVET Conference happening simultaneously.

The conference brings together policymakers, educators and industry leaders to discuss strategies for advancing skills development.

Education, Innovation, Youth, Sport, Arts, and Culture Minister Sanet Steenkamp, who inspected the venue ahead of the opening, was satisfied with the preparedness.

Namibians are urged to be torchbearers of the country's heritage in their everyday lives. 

MTC has committed an investment of N$4.5 million in the Content Creator Awards over the next three years. 

The announcement was made during the nomination event held at the National Theatre of Namibia.
