President-Elect Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah warned that it will not be business as usual after she assumes office on 21 March next year.

The Swapo Party has secured the highest number of votes in the ǃNamiǂNûs Constituency during the Presidential and National Assembly Elections held on Wednesday. 

The Swapo Party has wrapped its last public campaigning with promises to improve state health supplies, and education, and support economic stability.

The Party held its last star rally in Windhoek, addressed by its presidential candidate Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, on Sunday.

President Nangolo Mbumba says the Swapo Party and its candidate, Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, have been tested and approved as having substance and capacity to deliver economic development, eradicate poverty, and provide jobs. 

President Nangolo Mbumba says no other party captures the essence of Namibian society like the Swapo Party and hence called on the electorate to give his party and its presidential candidate, Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, another five years to govern.

The Swapo Party has reaffirmed its commitment to addressing the social challenges facing the country, particularly in rural communities.

At the Swapo Star rally at Nkurenkuru, party Vice President and presidential candidate, Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, said the party will prioritise agriculture, mining, and tourism sectors in Kavango West. 

To address unemployment and poverty in the country, the Swapo Party is committed to setting aside N$500 million for the production of high-nutrition products if given another mandate.

This was said by the party's vice president, Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, at a star rally held at Rundu on Saturday.
