Students at the University of Namibia's Rundu Campus say cultural festivals are an eye-opener and a great way to appreciate different ethnic groups found all over the country. 

The nbc News team caught up with some students to gauge their views on how they enjoyed the four days of connecting through arts and culture. 

UNAM's Rundu Campus is a melting pot of students from various cultures, and events such as cultural festivals assist in strengthening student bonds. 

For some students, these platforms provide an opportunity for them to come out of their shells and also expose students to experiences they never had. 

Governor of Kavango East Region Bonifatius Wakudumo also emphasised the fact that culture is the foundation upon which human identities are built.
