The Swapo Party celebrated the official nomination of Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah as a presidential candidate in the November 27 elections.

The former Regional Executive Committee member of the Swapo Party Youth League in the Erongo Region, Reinhold Shipwikineni, could lose his properties if he fails to pay N$400,000 in legal costs within 10 days following a High Court ruling.

Knowledge Ipinge, who returned to the ruling party in September this year, said he never left the party, nor was he expelled.

He explained that, as a result, he remained a member of Swapo.

The Swapo Party has condemned the recent street naming of streets and allocation of unserviced plots by the Keetmanshoop Town Council, describing it as 'cheap politicking'. 

The High Court has dismissed the application filed by Reinhold Shipwikineni and three others against the SWAPO Party, ruling that the case was not properly constituted.

The decision was made after today's hearing, where both parties presented their arguments.

The Swapo Party Vice President has directed all party members and supporters to conduct themselves in a peaceful manner ahead of the national elections on November 27. 

Namibia's Vice-President, Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, reaffirmed the government’s commitment to improving lives through infrastructure development during the inauguration of the new Home Affairs and Immigration office in the ||Kharas Region.

The Swapo Party Vice President, Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, urged the youth to embrace the party's manifesto, which includes targeted interventions aimed at addressing Namibia's socio-economic challenges.

Swapo Party's presidential candidate, Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, has promised that she will ensure that those elected into leadership positions deliver.

In no uncertain terms, Nandi-Ndaitwah also stressed that only the public can fire her, and she will call a spade a spade before it happens.

Swapo Party presidential candidate Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah says she is ready to lead Namibia and continue the work where her predecessors left off.

Nandi-Ndaitwah remarked this during a Swapo Party rally held at Outapi in the Omusati Region.
